About Renaissance Builders
Renaissance Builders has been building and remodeling
homes in Franklin County since 1977. President and founder
Stephen Greenwald has 28 years of hands-on experience
in all aspects of home construction and remodeling. Our
10 full time carpenters have over 120 years combined experience,
in specialties ranging from basic framing to detailed
finish work.
We take pride in our company, and it shows in our work
attitude. Our carpenters will make every effort to be
neat, clean and polite. We strictly enforce a non-smoking
policy on all indoor jobs, and ask our crew to respect
your wishes on outdoor work.
At Renaissance Builders, we understand that every project,
no matter how large or how small, involves many decisions
and some degree of stress. We will guide you through these
decisions, from basic design, to budget issues, to the
color of the tile in the master bath. Our goal is to make
the whole process as fun and interesting as possible.
For jobs that require specialized skills, such as plumbing,
electrical and tile work, we rely on sub-contractors chosen
for their experience and reliability. We have cultivated
our relationships with our subs so that our communication
is clear, scheduling goes smoothly, and their workmanship
matches our high standard of quality. This ensures that
your job will be done professionally, and in a timely
manner.
We choose to use quality materials from reputable suppliers,
and we take care to install all materials according to
the manufacturer's instructions. No product is perfect
all the time, but our good relationships with our suppliers
guarantee that if a problem occurs, they'll work with
us to solve it.

Board of Building Regulations and Standards as a Home
Improvement Contractor, registration #106490.
Stephen Greenwald is licensed with the Massachusetts
